Aerodynamics.

Okay draw up the plans. Details lots of details. How does a FTL teleporter work? How are these going to install dyson spheres? Lucky you posted, people were getting crazy trying to figure this out.

ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS. I bet.

He isnt wrong. youtube used to be ad free and just as fun....fuck ads.

The only way to fix it is only watch boring news.

Mercury is tidally locked so would only need to cover half. Why not build a solar array as big as mercury, closer to earth. Save travel time.
1
why would everything need an equatorial orbit in a swarm? We dont do that with satellites.
1
no
1
If we are first then it was a very long silence before that. Becoming a multi planetary species cuts the risks. Interplanetary would slmost eliminate them. Does make one a little nervous thinking about our species survival.
1
The nearest one is 4 light years away. The energy would not make it all the way back.
1
including driving your own star like a rocket engine!
1
cool the planet...core stops. Earth's magnetic shield fails and we all die. Geothermal is not feasible everywhere either. Far cheaper and easier to generate energy in space and ship it down with microwaves. Thanks to SpaceX.
1
Our viruses wouldnt know how to attack an alien's physiology. More difficult than animal human transmission.
1
Everybody gets a new orbit
1
The sun hitting your face is radiation. A Dyson sphere would stop that. Reality is literally the opposite of what you said.
1
If you are advanced enough to build them. You probably dont need to.
1
A sphere containing life. It could be a cube and the area containing life is the biosphere. Inside or outside.
1
How does one make concrete out of helium and hydrogen?
1
I think they already have an eye on them for minerals.
1
We would want to know why.
1
8.8k likes only 7 dislikes. So the answer to your question would be a no. Why are you asking?
1
microwaves
1
Or see what we are up to.. Then come over. No no no...like this! Here let us give you a hand. Come on boys! Earthers trying to build a solar outhouse let's show em how its done.
1
They wouldnt know it either or care.
1
Yep! I think he was just being dramatic with his destroy earth comment.
1
microbial alien life or sentient?
1
This video requires no trips to the sun. Yes they can!
1
We had a hundred billion+ people. The enviroment is contolled. We would build a ring or swarm not the entire shell. Of course if we had this tech we could also just leave and find new worlds to live on.
1
This channel is not for you.
1
Big and round with some jiggle.
1
Definitely a five.
1
What if it is in Earths orbit?
1
and another and another
1
I heard we are a point seven.
1
We won't...this passed year has shown how far away we are from any kind of positive future.
1
Or self replicating big bots that can eat planets and make concrete out of them.
1
It would be their reality. The thought being. That in the future your flesh self needs improvement.
1
The old joke is fusion is ALWAYS going to be 20 years away. Not a funny joke is it?
1
Miniature would have to be 80 percent of the mass of the sun. Anything less than that and hydrogen wont fuse. Planet ripping is easier than assembling suns.
1
Bit of a stretch assuming that a civilization is going to use all it's suns power to destroy.
