  1. Pakistan didnt steal the money...America GAVE them the money to fight terrorism on the Afghan/ Pakistan border. Since they found Bin Laden hiding in Pakistan US has since stopped funding.

India is ' talking' to the Taliban because they are the only country that has no relationship with the Taliban in the region. The reasons for talking to the Taliban are as follows. To ensure the country does not become a launch point for militants again. India has invested more than 2 billion dollars in Afghanistan and they want to ensure that Indian interests in the country are not targeted. They are only speaking to "nationalist" Taliban factions. Not those with ties to Pakistan or other foreign powers. Afghans have a favorable opinion of India and India thinks it can help influence the country's rebuilding process in a positive way.
