  1. Yeah. They can. What does "lying low" mean? Going to sleep or preparing? "suddenly". Yeah suddenly there was an explosion without prior warning. "Pull off an attack like this". It is not a sophisticated attack. Plant a bomb. You are really trying to reach for something other than what has taken place...stop it...you will give yourself a headache.

  3. The Afghan Army's defense was about as strong as a " pillow fort". Nobody expected 300,000 soldiers to just stop being soldiers in the span of a week.
