@lucerofci because it only represents half of your population...duh!

@MuddinNYC There are no polls. There are Taliban going door to door looking for people they view as enemies for helping foreign forces. This is after they repeatedly stated amnesty for those people. How does armed Taliban going into afghan houses equate to a positive opinion poll? It doesnt. You can prove me wrong by providing one link to one of these polls. Can you do it!?!

They all left 2 weeks ago. Did it take you this long?

38 million Afghanis: You guess wrong!

@yeager9731 The most common goverment post held by women around the world is Minister of Education. That is a fact. Had the Taliban taken that tiny forward the world would have applauded and you would not need to explain their actions. I want them to change, I really do, for the people of Afghanistan.

@MuddinNYC sheeesh...the world is very different in your head. Everything is slanted to be anti western and yet you claim to be western. Homegrown hater...wow!

@MuddinNYC Okay history lesson for you since you like to point to Iran. The slaughter of political prisoners right after Khomeni took over, numbered several thousand. Do you think the Taliban have a similar number in mind? You like to claim you know things. An all out hatred of Isreal is also in the cards right? Is that what the world needs more of? As for Sharia law. It was debated by my government and ultimately rejected as being sexist, and impractical in a modern society. Muslims are peaceful people who wish to take their place in the modern world. Taliban are opposite of that. " Leave them be , give them a chance" .... This is their chance and so far total failure. Their mutated form of Islam has no place in geopolitics. You support it, in light of the inevitable failure it will become. How many trenches will the Taliban be digging when people start to tire of them? All because of Sharia. You point to Iran and tell people Afghans want that!..smh

See those papers on his desk? You fold them just right... Afghanistan Airforce!

@MuddinNYC If trade is all you need to be recognized then we must inform the CCP that Taiwan is not part of China because it has its own recognized government. The world doesnt work that way. If they are not recognized they will not have access to the world bank. They will have to rely on costly loans from China. The only reason western countries are making it "sweet" for Taliban right now is in hopes they do the right things...they wont.

@Cpen54 And... it is a cartoonish display from an illegitimate government. One that is soon to trip over it's sandals and return to being the barbarians they are in their hearts.

Still not free.

Just not for women!
1
Give them six months they will ALL be charged with crimes agsinst humanity.
1
Oh my Ahmad. Women are all around you. Other islamic governments are making positive changes for women. The Taliban had an opportunity to make the world all go away by appointing a few women. They didnt because of what? Religion? The stupidity is absurd.
1
Okay tell me how is no women in their cabinet a success?
1
@yeager9731 "discourages females in politics"...that is a lie. Women have been increasing steadily year after year. Just because there was an obvious mistake made for 214 years...Does that mean Taliban cannot learn from that? Are these not the wisest of men? Yes we DO expect women to be included! Nothing wrong with that considering how terrible they were treated before.
1
@yeager9731 not american...canadian. we have had a woman prime minister. It has nothing to do with being a western goverment, it is about including all the people and women are people in case you didnt know. I said if they were smart. You wouldnt have to defend them. If you were smart you wouldnt defend them.
1
@hafizihilmibinabdulhalim1004 Sweden has never had a woman prime minister so any problems they have were man made.
1
@yeager9731 Dont feel sad for me.. Feel sad for those women thst will suffer because of the Taliban. Those that have suffered already like Malala Yousafzai. Nobody put ideas into my head other than witnesses that survived. When was the last time you looked at the Quran? Lecture me on being fed my ideolgy when your entire life has been fed to you.
1
@yeager9731 So Malala never happened? You don't go to temple? You DO condone violence against women by you refusal to dennounce it. Plenty to discuss here but you don't like people pointing out the failings of the Taliban. Maybe you need some lessons.

@yeager9731 Two Taliban got on her bus... Asked for her BY name and then she was shot in the head. So she was a puppet... at the age of 12 you say. She was a powerful figure to speak out about the Taliban. Did she DO that or did the Taliban create her by shooting her in the first place? What was the first thing the Taliban did before forming their government...do you know? They fired all the female workers...all of them. These are NOT my ideologies. These are the promises made by the Taliban to be more inclusive. So what does that mean Omar? What does inclusive mean to you? Are the Taliban being inclusive? Is it too early to tell? 16 reporters have been detained and 2 were beaten. Is this freedom of press afghan style? Everything they do is worthy of mockery. The Taliban had zero credibility as a functional government going into Afghanistan and if anything they are moving backwards. What have you got other than "Propagate ideology". Tell me a Taliban human rights success story and I will drop it.
1
@yeager9731 women are NOT discouraged from running for political positions in just about every other country in the world other except...Muslim countries and definitely not in Afghanistan.
1
@陳潔明-w6y Don't tell me. Tell these fanatics. Women will never be accepted. Not one muslim in these comments thinks they will be either, yet they still think it necessary to defend the indefensible.
1
Reducation centres popping up like Starbucks.
1
@MuddinNYC Al Qaeda was in Afghanistan and the person who confessed to planning 9/11. Taliban started a war and women were prisoners in their homes for 5 years. Afghans remember the Taliban and are prepared to cling to planes to escape them.
1
We didnt even get 1% perfection from Taliban did we?...same people as last government 20 years ago. You naive enough to think they are going to do better? WHAT HYPOCRISY? How many muslim countries have women ministers? A Muslim woman is more likely to be elected in a western government than a muslim one! We do not need to wait and hope like you are doing. We already know how this show will end....badly

Cute how you call us "crusaders" shall I go shine up my armour? Sharpen my sword? Summon my horse and ride down there? LOL "feared" oh yes...terrified!🤣😂
