Russia defaulted on their loans this week. Interest is at 20 percent. Selling of Rubles has been halted. Soon as trading starts again on the ruble....   16. Their logistics could not handle the disruption caused by 16 HIMARS. Russia paused after taking Severdonetsk. During that one week pause by Russia, Ukraine had a few really good hits on ammo dumps. Some burned for days. That was when Russia stalled.

Do you think any professional army would be doing that with their soldiers? Would you want to get in a golf cart to ride to battle or a BMP? Old Soviet stocks are being used and won't be replaced. 4000 tanks and 15000 armored vehicles gone already. Do not minimize the shortcomings of the Russian Army. Their flaws are terminal.

  36. The Russians strategy was to provide an overwhelming appearing force in order to deter the Ukrainians. They had great optimism they would maintain supply lines across the river, if Ukraine decided to attack anyway. Kherson is a big city. They can not explain pulling out of Kherson. That order will not be given. The Ukrainians should not press the Russians in that region. Just make life uncomfortable for them. Lots of partisan activity there as well. Morale is low already. It will save lives with less conflict while getting the desired liberation of Kherson.

The opposite is deflation, which indicates your countries contracting economy as demand for goods decreases. So yes, inflation is a signpost of the economy. Your comment stated that inflation has never been an indicator of an improving economy. I disagree. I am not debating the meaning of inflation with you. I am stating economists have always looked at inflation as one way to guage where the economy is heading. Some economists like to see an inflation rate of between one and two percent. It shows sustainable growth. Have you got anything else other than "it is a negative"? That does not prove it is not a metric of a countries economy, as you are suggesting.

Also you might want to look up how much more effective HARM-88s are when used with F-16s. Heck I will tell you. The anti radiation missles can use the radar of the F-16 to guide it to target. Thus making it harder for Russia to intercept. Ukraine couldn't do that with the migs. If you can think of one target that Russian air defenses saved let me know. Russia had to make a law prohibiting the badmouthing of their own military.That is how bad they are. 🤣
