  1. “We are scratching our heads,” a western official told AFP earlier this week when asked about Russia’s focus on Bakhmut. “We don’t know the answer.” whose purpose, for now at least, is about re-establishing a sense of lost military prestige for the Kremlin after months of setbacks on the battlefield. Even if the Russians could take Bakhmut, beyond is less easy terrain spread across a vast hinterland of wooded hills and rivers and decaying post-industrial towns.

  2.  @terrynewsome6698  There is none. A video just came out on Starsky's channel. The most valuable thing in Bakmut is a hill. A hill in which the anti tank fire is so intense that Russians do not send vehicles anymore. Just wave after wave of infantry with GRAD and artillery support. No armour...which means everything is shooting at the infantry. Check it out.👍
