  14. More likely, they are remembering they are not Russian. Russia will become a lot smaller next year when the bubble collapses. USSR collapsed when they spent 28% of their GDP on the military. Russia is currently around 25% of GDP. There is zero return on investment with military equipment, too. Once Russia spends it, it is never coming back. Not like if it were spent on a bridge, that would improve congestion and therefore productivity and income.

If what they said were even close to true, Russia would have been in Bakhmut months ago. Why do we only see Russian trenches armed by a few men and why is Russia only pushing in a few places instead of pushing everywhere and winning the war?
