You know the one?...Thousands of Chinese citizens gave their life savings to evergrande and are going to lose it all. The other drvelopers are in the same boat. If you are not developing, then you are dying. China is dying right now. How much research have you been doing?

You are right it is the incompetent strategies of the CCP that have led to this. Speculative housing markets as the only method of saving for retirement. Wtf were they thinking?

@wishfulguy4819 China cut down on coal for one reason and one reason only. To clean the air of smog in time for the Bejing winter olympics. Afterwards it is going back to the way it was. Do you invent stuff in your head for every event in China or do you sometimes stop and take the time to learn? When Beijing had the summer games last. They painted the grass green so it would look good. China is a weird place.

@wishfulguy4819 China is suffering the most obviously. Those smelters employ Chinese workers. Evergrande is mainly invested in by Chinese people. 30 percent of foreign businesses have or are making plans to get out of China. How much does the CCP pay it's people if they lose their job? 1506¥/month which is $233USD per month The US average is $378 per WEEK! You have a very inflated opinion on how important China is. The world has and will do very well without China.

@wishfulguy4819 evergrande is only one of many. The CCP is going to teach evergrande a lesson are they? At the cost of how many Chinese's citizens retirements? There is a long list of crooked businessmen going to prison in the west. You just wont look because it doesnt fit your narrative.

@wishfulguy4819 U making it up...there is nothing in Chinese law that protects investors against losses. In fact there are videos of Chinese people crying because they have lost everything to Evergrande. Unlike Chinese investors who cant invest wherever they want, western investors are diversified. A quick look shows that foreign investment in evergrande is only $7.4bn out of $340bn. "wishful thinking" is not going to do you any favours. It actually doesn't help with anything...ever.

@wishfulguy4819 Another developer in China missed a loan repayment of 200million dollars. Another domino is about to fall. All those things on your wish list arent going to be happening. In the last year Singapore and South Korea have invested more in China than Europe and North America did. Because of CCP crackdowns and as you call it....'strategy', Chinese stocks trading on Wall street in NYC have plunged 45% since July. Reality is not matching up with anything you are claiming. Who's fault is that?

@wishfulguy4819 600 million Chinese live in extreme poverty according to the UN. 1000yuan is only 600 dollars USD. Extremely poor is anything below 690 dollars. China is even worse than Africa because it is a developing country therefore individuals should be making $2007/year. Chinese are poorer than poor. CCP >>>LIES<<<<about not having any poor people. There are no people signed up to donate and yet China has the shortest wait times anywhere. How come? Also tell me how China ended up 30- 40 million females short without ultrasounds. Ultrasounds for sex determination is illegal in China and most couldnt afford one in the last century anyway. Is it possible to determine sex BEFORE birth without one? No it is not and yet China has somehow managed to abort only the girls. How? Think about that please. Being the father of three girls you will know why I disapprove of China so much.
