  1. The Pentagon is reluctant to provide tanks for all the reasons you mentioned. That leaves us to speculate whether the US had a plan to help Ukraine that did not involve tanks. I say yes. Bradleys and Strykers match very well against Russian armour. Leopards are icing on the cake. Leave the Abrams at home and send a lot r of IFVs instead.
