UK never promised jets. They don't have the right jets F-16s.

@Akatsuki1989 Do you know why there are ethnic Russians in eastern Ukraine? Have you ever thought to ask or look it up? You are free to do your own research, but I will tell you also. Years ago Russians were faced with possible starvation. To help the situation they started taking the food from their vassal state Ukraine. They did not care if the Ukrainians had enogh to eat and of course the Ukrainians didn't. Millions starved to death. Mostly in the east of Ukraine because that is closest to Russia and easier to steal the food from. Seeing all these now empty houses, Russians came in and started living in them. Now many years later these Russians want to take the land. Imagine being starved out of your home and then having those that did it also take your home.👈 THAT IS WHAT IS GOING ON AND YOU ARE CHEERING THEM ON!

Regardless I did answer your question accurately and you were not happy with the answer. "Why did Ukraine not remain neutral?" Russian Imperialism thats why.

@debbaranyabiswas1102 Budapest Agreement..."Russia is to respect the territorial integrity of Ukraine". That was the broken word that caused this mess. There was not much love for Ukraine before Russia invaded. There was no chance such a corrupt country was going to be joining the EU or NATO in under a decade. Russia screwed up! That is the bottom line in this whole chapter of history.

HOW? How is it that as brilliantly smart as you are, you fail to realize that no order is or ever will be coming from the USA regarding fighter jets. For the simple reason that UK has ZERO suitable fighters to give. Why did your genius level IQ not twig onto that fact and avoid you sounding like a conversation with a cabbage might be more productive?

@tsubagong6606 I am fully versed on everybody's "opinion" of facts all the way back to the forming of the Soviet Union. I still am of the opinion that Russia is in the wrong. Putin realized that Russia is a military superpower only. The military was degrading and Russia does not have the GDP to replace it. Zero aircraft carriers is telling. Only remedy was to generate more income quickly. The last desperate throws of a superpower.

@Balkans73 Thank you I have had enough rhetoric for one day and it is only 8:27am. There will always be a Ukraine. All of our western goverments and major corporations have signed deals to rebuild it after Russia has lost. NATO and the Pentagon are smart and have been given the order they have planned forever..."defeat Russia". I am not betting against them, Ukraine is gaining strength at a faster rate than Russia is. Meanwhile the Russian counteroffensive is underway and we have barely noticed.

Did this war not start with Russia using seperatists in...🤔 lets see how many proxy wars Russia has started. Georgian seperatist in 2008, Crimea in 2014, DPR, LPR and Moldova! That is a lot of warmongering that you are still defending. Like I said I know the story here. How long do you think it would take one of the most corrupt countries in the world to join the EU and NATO? There was very little love for Ukraine before Putin tried to fix Russia's problems of population and slow economic growth, with an ill fated snatch and grab of Ukraine. Regardless of the excuse. If the UNSC says no invasion...then don't go pissing off the world by going ahead regardless. Find another way. One that does not negotiate Ukrainian territory. As we all know that is non negotiable.

I have been on pro Russian Telegram channels and read the hate written there. Even towards children. They want Ukraine eradicated. Well that is not going to happen! Russia better be prepared to bury five million young men because that is how many they are going to need. Even then the destruction of Russia as a superpower will be complete.

When the Russian language and patriotism is weaponized to attack a legally elected goverment in Ukraine, then they are perfectly within their rights to ban it. Russia would do the same. Are there bad actors in Ukraine, sure there are. That still does not justify this invasion. There are plenty of bad actors in Russia too, shall we clean them up while we are at it? As for nazism... From 2015 to 2021 Russia had their own version of AZOV doing the exact same things as AZOV and then blaming them for it. They are called the Imperial Legion and they are the military wing of Russia's very own nazis. Russian Imperial Movement. (R.I.M.) Ukraine are the victims , Russia are the illegal agressor, NATO and the west will give everything including Jets and ATACMS to end this war. Russia's version of history will be buried with them. I have dismissed this Nazi bullshit a long time ago for two reasons. First of all their are nazis on both sides and second the notorious AZOV battalion consisted of 1400 members, of that number 850 were nazis. So to say that small a number represents the majority of Ukrainians insults everyone's intelligence. It does perfectly illustrate how irrational you are willing to get in order to solidify your beliefs. There is so much exaggeration in the Russian version of events. Russians have claimed 15,000 civillians were killed in the eight year war. In actuality that is ALL casualties including soldiers. To remedy that bloodshed, this Putin has started killing that many per week! "Ukraine bombed civillians in Donbas for eight years", sick of hearing that, Ya so did the DPR and LPR. Those eight years were a minor war, which Russia exaggerated it into a nazi genocide. DID THEY NOT? YES THEY DID! Lavrov has brought it up lots of times. Isn't it great how the two countries that have shot down passenger jets with S300s are now such close allies? Russia has crossed top many lines, just like Iraq. Such disregard for humanity this Kremlin goverment displays. All over eight hundred nazis!🤷‍♂️ It blows my mind how there are people who think like that. @debbaranyabiswas1102 There has been no final official decision on jets or not. This discussion is all based on one statement by one spokesperson from the UK Prime Minister's office. Of course pro Russian media and their bots have turned it into UK's concrete, no changing your mind, final decision on jet fighters.

@debbaranyabiswas1102 The Minsk agreement ONLY REQUIRED because Russia broke the Budapest Agreement. You expect Ukraine to negotiate territory away. Why would they do that in the interest of THEIR country? That is what Minsk(s) required Ukraine to do. Would you like your country to do that? If you are going to debate things like the CIA then you have already lost. Ukraine has had half a century of Russian dominance, they did not want to go back. Referendums and opinion polls from the very beginning illustrated that overwhelmingly. There are certsin practices and structures that are required to make Ukraine compatable with joining the EU. Most evolve atound human rights and goverment and fiscal transparency. There are thirty five chapters in the criteria for ascension that Ukraine most fulfill to becoming an EU member. These things need to be done and they cost money. The EU does privide aid to help with these changes. Russisn propoganda has labelled this as CIA meddling. Now the pro Russian president in 2014 Viktor Yanukovych had two options. Take the EU offer and begin to clean up the country or take a 15 billion dollar "loan" from Russia along with some cheap gas and oil. We all know which he took. By no right does Russia have a claim on Ukraine. Maiden was a revolution those are legal. This Russia business is one huge warcrime.

Being that he is linked everyday for the past year with all the most powerful and influential people in the world. Name one person other than certain British royalty who can boast a friends list like Volodymyr Zelenskyy - President of Ukraine. The president who then proceeded to promote one Valerii Zaluzhnyi to General and make him, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The general then came up with the plans, that have seen the Russian army change their goal from taking all of Ukraine in a week, to mobilizing north of half a million men with the hopes of illegally annexing twenty percent. They are still trying after 351 days. I could happily die of that kind of embarrassment, what a life this comedian has had!👏🇺🇦
