  1. I'll say it (again) if no one else will. I wish you would have put stronger roof cross bracing up near the top which would still save you a lot of room, or some sort of scissors truss to increase the load bearing of heavy snow and ice during the winter on that roof. You must be under some time deadline for rushing through rather than building structure more solid and permanent.

  3. You can get drill in "mobile home anchors" for mobile homes, sheds, etc., set in around foundation perimeter, then steel strapping connects to your foundation base boards. Keep 'er down.

  4. Now get this Kyle! Build a medium to larger wood shed next to the house, but put solar panels on the roof!! Easy to remove snow from panels in winter. Brilliant, I know. But honestly ... spend the money and bring in electric. Zero ... zero headaches thereafter.

  5. You can plants carrot, radish, lettuce, spinach, spring onions -- cool weather crops -- seeds now. You can mail order garlic sets, rhubarb and horseradish root. I'm afraid you're going to have to build a 7-8ft "deer fence." You'll see! I'd place 24-48" galvanized chicken wire around the base to deter groundhogs, opossums, etc., that would love to gnaw through and mow down an entire garden overnight. You can make a great removable compost pile fencing by taking 36 inch tall one quarter inch hardware cloth, forming it into a 4-ft diameter cylinder by wiring the cut ends together. Alternate "browns" with "greens," sprinkle with some poultry-based blood meal, water well and turn over every two weeks. Speaking of water ... where is your water source? That might have been the most critical very first thing to do before building anything.
