Ray loves your series, but he was hoping for permanent cast concrete piers, embedded steel post (wood foundation) connectors to resist uplift, metal joist hangers for lasting strength, and a layer of 1/4" hardware cloth stapled across joists (beneath subfloor) to deter gnawing creatures. Perhaps you can still utilize the latter idea when you build your smaller out buildings. I understand there's an intersection between structural permanence/performance and upfront cost.
