Of course you can easily make a larger one for outdoor use by having a smith cut a hole in a 55 gallon drum making a wood stove out of it, then placing your larger distiller on top of it outside.   3.  @ACO-Amy  Actually he said the difference between on-grid and off-grid was "a wash," meaning fairly equal. One has to look at the big picture and the future! Sure you can cut utility bills by employing four small solar panels but such a growing homestead will suffer from reliability and wattage capacity.
