@owen368 Not surprising after the disillusionment of WW1 and Pro Soviet agitators in the Union and Labour Movement’s. Another consequence of that stupid stupid war ! Labour slowly moving away from its Christian roots. The fear of Revolution was very real back then.

@mikeoglen6848 In 1914 yes There were internal issues and unrest to begin with but that stupid bloody war was the real undoing of Anglo Norman England It unleashed so much damage and brought dangerous ideas into the mainstream
