1:46 In Portugal, foreigners don't give an eff about learning portuguese, the locals don't get upset or angry about that, like French lolo, only few portuguese speak other languages, but instead they a very akward and hilarious thing, they think if they speak portuguese slowly and loud, the foreigner will understand lol, while the foreigner does the "WTF" expression lol. Myself, when seeing a foreigner needing guidance or is looking for a street or monument, I try to help them, speaking english, of course if they are spanish or french forget it lol. What upsets the portuguese, is if u speak spanish thinking that u are speaking portuguese lol. The problem, we understand spanish, but is disrespectful me being a portuguese, a the other person speaks spanish, while thinking is speaking my native language. If the foreigner is spanish is one thing, not being one, is disrespectful. Is like going to Japan and speak mandarin, thinking that chinese and japanese are all the same, look and talk the same, the same applies to Spanish and Portuguese.
