Is funny, I don't see anyone focusing in this possibility for Rey, I could be mistaken. But Rey could be the first Grey Jedi and they need that to finish the Skywalker saga or instead only creating a perpetual loop. If Rey defeats Kilo Ren and becomes a Sith lord, the Force only will create someone to balance it again, creating a loop. And if this is the last of this saga, not the franchise itself, Rey needs to become the Grey jedi, the Balance itself. Or even make Kilo and Rey change sides, would be a dumb and obvious plot twist. And Rey needs a Sith teacher, who's better than Palpatine, while Anakin Skywalker ghost will be important to teach her the importance of balance, since he was both Jedi and then Sith and then Jedi again. The only plausible reason to make her go Sith is to force the Force to take action, but if not mistaken she doesn't want to do more Starwars movies, I could be wrong. Because she would had become the villain for the next trilogy.
