  6.  @boredchairman7488  I do agree that we shouldn't write ppl off because of this left/right bs, I'm not sure who these 'slave masters' are that you refer to though. Anyway I disagree that this distinction is pulling us apart. What is actually pulling ppl apart is the antagonistic view that the other side is immoral and by doing so bringing politics into the realm of morality. Left/right distinctions are perfectly valid to make, you just have to respect your opponent and view them as a human being instead of as an enemy that needs to be destroyed. It might be interesting to check out "On the political" by philosopher Chantal Mouffe, she makes some interesting points

I can't promise I'll look at some random youtubers vids as I have studying to do (exams) and I can't say I agree with your view of it being a predatory bird either. Politicians are and can be quite shite though

  15. ​ @carlh-thehermitwithwi-fi679  I'm a bit confused by this "only when absolutely necessary for provisions.", so you're a "possible infection danger to the community, only when absolutely necessary for provisions."?? That doesn't make any sense. If you're infected and not wearing a mask, then you Are a possible infection danger to the community. The contact they refer to is physical contact/closeness with ppl. This is why you're supposed to disinfect your hands before touching stuff (disinfecting kills the virus). When you do this you can safely take hold of something, put it somewhere and then let the other person pick it up while you're at a safe distance. Since your hands were clean, there is no virus on the package and because you're not standing next to them there is no contact with your respiratory droplets (that should also be mostly caught by your face mask). This should be obvious. It seems your confusion stems from a lack of understanding what is meant by 'contact'. I hope that you are now properly informed, if you have any other things that are not clear I'm willing to try to explain these to you as well.

  17.  @thephilb  I’m not an American actually. I get what you’re saying but it’s quite silly, this is a public health hazard. This has nothing to do with your religion and everything to do with stopping the spread of a virus, the faster ppl grow up and take responsibility the faster it will be over
