  1. Two points: (a) it's not in the interest of the citizens of the US to allow unfettered immigration, i.e., to allow any person from anywhere in the world to enter the US and to be given legal status, and (b) it's not in the interest of the US to allow China to steal US intellectual property, nor is it in the interest of the US to tolerate "forced technology transfer" by the Chinese government.
