Yeah, the European governments could very easily implement this; and almost everyone would pay. Of course, they might start off with a tax of 5%; but it wouldn't take long for that tax to rise to 10%, 12%, etc.

Yes; but worse: global governance. A world that is governed by unaccountable bureaucrats who cannot be dislodged via the electoral process.

@MrAsianman987 Yes; but Schiff ALSO said that if his father had merely refrained from paying his taxes.... but had kept quiet about it, he probably would have gotten away with it, and certainly would not have been sent to prison. And of course, Schiff advocates for being a resident of Puerto Rico in order to avoid US taxes.

@masterchef2875 Yeah, although Honduras does have a territorial tax system; which makes it one of the better countries to be a resident of, at least from a tax perspective.

"Protecting" existing wealth is one thing; but GROWING one's wealth is quite another. The former is a lot easier than the latter, when one is faced with an oppressive tax regime.
