  1. I do think that gold will gradually... GRADUALLY... get demonetized over time. But it'll happen over a period of many years. The decline in gold over the last 8 months has not been primarily due to bitcoin (although that may have been a secondary factor). Certainly, it'll be a long time before GOVERNMENTS dump their gold and replace it with bitcoin.
