  2.  @user-lq1ph9zo2q  Biden has proposed to eliminate the "stepped up basis cost" of estates (i.e., Biden wants to make heirs pay tax on the basis of the ORIGINAL COST of the assets); and this would be combined with big increases in the capital gains tax on amounts above $400K. This new tax will be a big deal if it becomes law.
