@-bnqe-3119 In most countries, you can escape taxation merely by becoming a resident of another country. Of course, there may be new taxes in that other country... but they might also be a lot lower than they were in the country that you left.

@-bnqe-3119 I have US citizenship; so I will remain a "slave" for the foreseeable future. But I know that I could significantly lower my tax burden if I were to relinquish that citizenship. (However, my tax burden would have to go quite a bit higher before I would take that step).
