  1. Income tax in Montenegro is 9%... up to an income of about $10,600 per year; above which the tax is 11%. The municipalities impose an additional tax of 15%. Still good, but not extraordinary.

  2.  @sirgalahad2  OK thanks. Still, regardless of what country one is considering, one should always look at BOTH "marginal" rate and "effective" rate. The marginal rate does matter when deciding whether to expend additional work effort... or to take additional risk with capital.
