  1. Yeah; one of the many questions will be that of how long people have to wait to get a check from their insurance company.... .... and how the insurance company will assess the value of the house itself VERSUS the value of the land that the house rests on.

  2. @Rain-ec4jj  depends what you mean by "a home". There are houses or condos that can be purchased for $200K... but probably not in Los Angeles. (They exist, e.g., in Toledo, OH, and in Tulsa Oklahoma).

  3. Certainly going to be very inconvenient for people who lost their house AND their job..... and who have minimal savings. That said, the rich Hollywood elites will be just fine.
