I don't think they'll get control of the US government in the 2020 election, but I DO think they will EVENTUALLY get control of the US government. And should that come to pass, the only escape from their heavy tax burden will be to renounce citizenship.

And if they want to prevent him from running again in 2024, they will easily be able to accomplish that objective. Seems to me that if the legislature of a state passed an ordinance requiring mask-wearing, and if the governor of the state signed the legislation.... and if, later, the supreme court of the state upheld the ordinance.... no federal judge would stand in the way of it. But (as far as I know), we're a long way from all three of those conditions having been met... in ANY state.

  31. Landowners should have sold out years ago. The decision about whether to sell.... or not to sell.... wasn't (and isn't) about what's "right", but about what was practical. At this point in time, however, I would assume that land values are very depressed, i.e., that it's too late to sell.

  36.  @ray4334  That's true. If the election is awarded to Trump, we'll see rioting, looting and violence immediately. If the election is awarded to Biden, I don't think we'll see large-scale violence immediately; but if the political right is pushed too far for too long, it too will erupt.
