  3.  @paulmusyk4lyfe51  Interestingly, scientists that studied the brain on lsd with more recent tech were under the impression people weren't actually hallucinating. The brain was responding to external stimulus. Except when on lsd the central cortex slows down and everything else ramps up. Usually the different parts of the brain get filtered by the cortex. When on lsd the other parts bypassed that and just started talking to eachother unfiltered. But yeah, lsd is not exactly causing you to hallucinate... Just over load on information.
