It just needs to have the code adjusted...which obviously it gets changed all the time as time goes by. You people just don't understand how this stuff works and want to holler about something. How about you get mad about the government officials openly supporting BS instead of FB allowing people to have freedom of speech.

@travisadams6279 it's not a person sitting at a desk saying yes this is allowed, this isn't. Do you realize how many people there are in the world? This is why FB has a system that allows people to flag content, so that they can find it and then review it and take it down...in the case that the algorithm let's it through. There is no person hand checking the billions of ads from companies until they get flagged by a FB user. As A.I. gets better all of this will be less and less of a problem. But you people aren't looking for the truth on how this stuff works...you just want to blame FB. FB is not the only company that uses ad software. Maybe you people should pay more attention to your kids and what they have access to.

@16m49x3 dude...what? Get out of scifi fantasy land. You have AI in your pocket right now. AI is already changing the scape of medicine.

@CATownsend777 yes, and what about the people posting the content? They have no responsibility?
1
@msanders2605 if you think they have been censoring the right you are mistaken.
1
@msanders2605 Yeah but they aren't censoring stuff. If you break the guidelines and get taken down they have every right to take your content down. Everything else is essentially a direct result of what people post and click on.

@16m49x3 Yeah, and those patterns are created by the users. AI can generate new patterns based on input. Sounds like you don't know much about it.

@16m49x3 Like I said,you don't understand it.

@16m49x3 you now say so many posts later....sure buddy.

@travisadams6279 That's because it will. It already is and has. The stuff being put out by the A.I. is determined by the users. Not by FB. Why is this so hard for you people to understand? FB moderators can only keep up with so much when it comes to billions of users. And if you watched the video those ads weren't actually shown to children because the ad company didn't actually put them out. They were found to be put in a category that would show to kids 13+. A.I. probably just saw colors or the word candy and it got lumped into a group of like worded or colored stuff. It is far from perfect and all it takes is for somebody to flag it and then a real person looks at it and makes a decision. Now if FB had some moderator actually check that and then they still OK'd it....that is a problem. This is just a software problem. It's not some nefarious scheme.

It's like they want FB to start banning people so they can claim censorship again.
