@t_ylr You realize it's still very much in development right? It's not like it's finished.

By the time the tunnels are really done there will be vehicles specifically made foe it that aren't regular cars.

@Dell-ol6hb It may be slow now...bit it wont always be.

@durshurrikun150 I will!😁

@durshurrikun150 You mean the reality where he forced the market to move into the future? That reality? Dreams are only dreams until we make them into reality.

@beel8436 I don't know why all you people think this would only be used for personally owned vehicles. There will be "busses" , multi passenger vehicles with no driver, and regular cars. Its not going to just be for cars and it wont be moving this slow in the future. They are just building the infrastructure right now. Its like saying trains are never going to catch on while watching the rails be built.

@durshurrikun150 They were making them? They were building infrastructure for them? Funny how we didnt have them still then! We all know electric cars didn't start getting taken seriously until Tesla. Like, come on dude. The tech would have been here way sooner if gas powered car manufacturers had done more to develop it...but they didn't because big oil gets them more money without having to innovate much. And as for colonies on other planets....its in our future, if we make it, no matter what. And if we make it that long we will be needing them probably. Also, if we creat the infrastructure for those colonies to thrive on another even harsher planet...tham that same tech can be used to build colonies protected from the harsh environment of future earth too. Think about it a little more...its.not just for mars. It will spur advancements that benefit us here too. A planet does not need to to be terraformed for there to be colonies on it either.

@durshurrikun150 lmao...yeah that's the point I made. That they've "been here" but se.how never actually been here. Gee wonder why...oh right because they didn't make them. Because they ignored the need for them to cate to those giving them money ..we actually do know... there's lots of info on the history of it. Yes the tech wasn't good enough at first, but it has beem for much longer than most people think. And please, act like electric cars arent good....so why are all the major car manufacturers making them now? How come it took them seeing Tesla have such success to finally stop making concept electric cars that nobody could buy? The infrastructure is impossible? For charging stations? What? How the hell did we make gad stations then? They are way more complicated. You're the one who is angry...so angry you refused to actually even look up some facts and instead would rather wallow in ignorance and not even try to learn about what you are talking about.

@durshurrikun150 its not vapor ware...the only thing that "hasn't been released" is fully autonomous driving. And it's absolutely very close without question. I guess only time will tell. Tesla started with luxury cars...to fund the rest of it...there is definitely a "scheme" of sorts but it's all going towards funding everything else he is trying to do. Yes the original models weren't cheap, but the ones that came after gor cheaper and cheaper. His whole thing is about getting it all to the point where it is easily accesible for everyone..not just the elite and rich people. If you cant afford one then you cant afford one of the regular gas cars new either...so... The base model of that crazy truck is 25,000...how is that not affordable?

@durshurrikun150 And also, he did not promise they would be done by 2020. Little bit of misrepresentation there. What was actually said was that they would start production...as in making them in 2020, and not mass production...that was never promised. Mass production starts in 2023 in Austin. Probably after that factory is done and running.

@durshurrikun150 lmao, I literally looked it up before typing that comment. I'm not wrong. And we would have robo taxis if it weren't for such stringent regulations on automated driving in the USA. It's literally a thing in other countries already and there are a few cities in the US that have started to use it. It's here.

Its not finished....not even close.
