@BelowMe-m8k Archaeology, history, and genetics make it very clear that the descendants of the ancient "Israelites" were in the Levant, namely, Palestine, prior to the turn of the 20th century. They are indeed the Palestinians. "Undisputed" is a laughable claim, hasbara, as is that canned "Roman province" line. Tell me, according to the Torah itself, what was the name of the tribe of Goliath who was in the region before David arrived?

@BelowMe-m8k Correct, the Philistines, called Peleset by the Egyptians and recognized as the power in that region. And any Mediterranean Studies undergrad could tell you that the "Sea Peoples" question you refer to is hardly summed up by that analysis, especially since the archaeological record does not indicate a replacement of Canaanite/Phoenician/Levantine culture, nor does genetic analysis of remains. Instead, modern Palestinians have over 90% genetic similarity to remains from before the time of David as well as during and after it, because they are the same people, living in the same lands. You are no doubt also aware that the modern european israeli shares some mere 40% DNA with the people of the ancient Kingdom of Israel
