This does prove my point though: Most Americans don't even see right wing propaganda as right wing, they see it as "normal" because they're so deeply conditioned to it. You seem to be coming from the same perspective that this local news crew is―you seem to be evincing politics of your own, as is everyone in any situation where they call for "no politics" (see boneheaded NFL fans). Conservatives inherently dislike issues being talked about as systemic, thus it's virtually always they who make the call for "no politics". That's exactly how nothing changes and the status quo remains the same, after all, and that's exactly what they want. We should be suspicious of people who make calls for "no politics", for what they really mean is "don't rock the boat"
