What would the US' demographic divide entail? They're much more evenly distributed than a place like China. You've got the old Continental Divide, but that doesn't mean much for demography these days. You've also got the Mason Dixon Line, but I wonder what that even means anymore for population distribution. You could divide politics readily, but people?

I guess it's mostly about climate and living closer to warmer, more arable land

@USSAnimeNCC- The Democrats probably hate leftists more than the Republicans do. As a leftist, I say fuck em both. But anyone can pull up a Red vs Blue map of the States, that's not very insightful

@mistermiles3271 It might be a lot less interesting to his audience, since Americans (and probably a lot of Europeans) are already very much aware of places like Flyover States and the most densely populated regions (NYC and LA). There'd probably need to be some other angle to take in order to make content so many of us are familiar with already more compelling

@wyattcramer1131 With the Mississippi being really close to the middle of the country, almost dead center if you discount the continental divide west of it where virtually nobody lives, that's actually surprisingly evenly distributed

@robthetraveler1099 You're right about so-called Flyover States, I guess I just don't see the unique angle that makes such an examination particularly enlightening, especially for the majority of the audience. There's probably some interesting angle to work in there

Because Mainland China is in the East (Taiwan being even further east) and a lot of that territory to the west of that line belonged to other groups until fairly recently when the PRC squatted on their lands and subsumed them. But hey, at least they're treating the local populations really fairly, right? ...right?
