@EngineerMFB I think I understand you, but that's a rather poor way of putting it for two reasons:
1) Such a period must be understood to be temporary and transitional. The goal, in as swift a time as is prudent, is to abolish private property and the market altogether. Anything short of this goal is mere capitalist reform, and is neither socialism nor communism.
2) Capitalism as a political ideology is the control of society by capitalists, by the 1%. In the above transitional period, capitalists must be suppressed, must be barred from the political sphere entirely, and instead, the working class must control the mechanisms of governance and means of production, even as it strives to rid itself of capitalist modes of production with the goal of establishing communism. Again, that is what many call socialism.
If we are describing the same thing, then abandon the "capitalism" rhetoric, and just say that you advocate for socialism
