Hamas is no more a terrorist organization than the IDF. I'm not disagreeing with you, but I'm bucking against the imperialist use of that word "terrorist"

@dangel9293 Once again, the IDF has dine far worse, and for generations. Resistance is justified when people are occupied. The solution: End the occupation.

The only people pretending otherwise are trying to use a historically embattled identity as a shield from criticism regarding the treatment of a presently embattled identity. It's crying "racism" to defend racism

@galemartin9155 This isn't about religions, its about millions of your human siblings being oppressed by apartheid

@Reese842 "Sorry you can't atrocity me, that's not the answer to my atrocities. I have a right to defend my existence, you do not. Now, turn the other cheek..."

@@MrPefectWasMurdered "Remember that next time you think to criticize the people who are directly enabling this imperialist violence." If they voted real Red, they'd be our dear friends

@erinmac4750 Indeed, the cycle of violence is perpetuated by Israeli occupation. Only when that ends is is the cycle broken. Israel's actions before and after this weekend are the source of this situation.

@totozviara Denialism is your clear game. You claim to know the meaning of resistance, but you simply don't seem to think the Nakba should be resisted. This very denialism cost hundreds of lives last weekend, and continues to claim more.

@@MrPefectWasMurdered Did you not just say "Remember that next time you start spewing hate about your fellow countrymen just because they vote red"? This is why people don't respect your position, it's nakedly hypocritical

@totozviara In what way can I not call 75 years of resistance "resistance"?
6
@feralLove ah yes, the IDF, classic paragons of anti-authoritarianism. I should aspire to toe their line
6
@totozviara Mask off. This is why we must give unconditional support for all who strive for liberation and who oppose this rhetoric by any means necessary.
6
@sm1ofakind Yes, I can. And the IDF has donr similarly for 75 years. It does not matter what your or my opinion is of the tactics of the oppressed to liberate themselves, for those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable
4
@aries8910 I'll say it for the umpteenth time: Tell it to the IDF. I'm sure the crimeless inmates of thr world's largest open air prison are lining up to hear your and my opinions on which methods are justified for their liberation

@m.a.sperry3424 I am saying that arguing this conflict is about religion is essentially to take Israel's skewed stance. It is to argue that religion is anywhere close to a legitimate reason for colonizing and occupying land, or evicting and oppressing millions of people. It is to suggest that how we react to this situation should take into consideration our views of the faiths involved. It is to suggest that this problem is insoluble so long as more than one religion thrives in the region, or that people in far-flung parts of the world have no dog in the fight if they're unconcerned with "mere religious conflicts". This is not a religious conflict. It is not predicated upon opposing faiths. The real issue here is not a battle between Islam and Judaism, it is about settler-colonialism and apartheid in occupied Palestine. That is what drives this violence.

@Robbie_S You mean what Israel has done for 75 years?
1
@subs4794 Well, thanks for sharing your thoughts. I strongly disagree, and I stand firmly by everything I've said here, and by the people of occupied Palestine
