Every time they invade Russia, they lose a couple of cities. Today they lost Toretsk and Chasov Yar, last time, they lost Kurachove. It might be good for Western interests to try and inflict as much damage as poss to Russia, but It is definitely wrong from the point of view of Ukraine 's interests. In operations of today's, Russia has taken over lithium deposits worth £ billions, exactly those which the German councillor hoped that they will ultimately belong to Germany, without which ÷quote÷ "Germany will be unable to perform the green transition".

@DarkRoomAmbience i know it can. It was strange why the Chancellor got a fixation with Ukraines lithium resources.

@DarkRoomAmbience China is already much more advanced than Germany and generally it is better to have more natural resources, rather than less coz it influences the price. I suspect that's the reason why dear old Councillor is upset. It is thought that out of cca $15》trillion worth of Ukraine 's natural resources, cca $12 was under Russian control before this happened. This new development is an addition to Russian portfolio in Ukraine. One more reason to be upset.

@awf6554 In January alone, Ukraine lost 500 sq kms of territory to Russia. To put it in a perspective, it is equal to the size of UAE and Bangladesh put together. Pro Ukraine people should support peace deal ASAP.
