@mikegrabner8136 Toretsk fell to Russia today. Russians have counted 26 000 Ukrainian corpses in the city. It is interesting to note that the combined Kursk+Toretsk Ukrainian losses equal the total pre-war population of Toretsk with the suburbs thereof.

@stephenoneill245 well, Toretsk has officially fallen to Russia. We need to put pressure on Zelensky to stop the war, unless we want him to lose more territory. The big problem is that from cca $15 trillion worth of rare earths, cca $13 is situated in Russia controlled areas. The west will lose more unless Ze is stopped. Both Sholtz and Trump are counting on these resources to recuperate the losses US and Germany incurred by supporting Ukraine. We have to bear that in mind if we want to avoid abject poverty.

@stephenoneill245 am listening to a Uki analyst. The fate of Toretsk is sealed. Acc to DW, Ookie controls 1.5% of Kursk oblast, down from 40 % earlier. Obviously they're losing. I don't understand why the west doesn't send PMCs to assist them, they're running out of manpower.

@eblevinda it's a tiny outfit. Ukros need 100's of K's if they are to win the war. Furthermore, millions of Ukros are taking advantage of the EU benefit system instead fighting for the western-owned land in Ukraine. So first, we give Russia our property and then reward Ukros for losing it. Nonsense.
