How about lowering living cost for all that way you wouldn't need to give pay rises This way the under privilege people won't get left behind and can't pay thier bills and end up on the streets Pretty simple lower cost of living not increase it by raising wages You don't need high education in economics just have to be under privilege to know how economics work As their the ones living on the edge and juggling to survive When wages go up everything goes up but wage increases only ment to benefits the working but they tax more from you in taxes as well get more taxes from price increases on products 10% on $40 before pay rises After pay rise products go up to pay for them So from paying 10% on $40 you now pay 10% on $50 as well as the increase in wages and if it pushes you into a higher tax bracket you'll loose even more pay rises only benefits certain individuals the government more tax That's why they'll never lower living cost if things get cheaper they get less taxes
