More money doesn't help anyone it just increases everything further out of reach What we need is lower living cost for everyone Cheaper Electricity Food Fuel Rents Home ownership Which would help every Australian fro the lowest to highest But you get wage increases up goes everything to pay for them Government's should've been making sure these items stayed low You get that by competition But raising their costs on Wages Electricity Fuel Rents Prices go up,to pay for them and competition depletes as costs force them out of business Also deter others from starting up so little competition and then higher prices Its pretty simple way of explaining how things work Its why you could live on $100 a week because that bought so much as everything was cheaper Now higher wages Hiher prices They generally get raised higher then wage increases Just look at current day you got a raise But doesn't even cover your fuel bill Or Electricity bill Lets face it doesn't even cover a school kids blazer let alone the uniform they need So pay rises only work for more tax's We haven't even spoke about tax bracket creeping
