That information shouldn't be kept on the computers with internet access The company could have a central system where their branches can message information checks and the people can't look it up on a computer that's not on line and then notify the branch making the inquiries if your clear for them to continue the applications without any personal details on line it will be a bit slower and extra cost but that cost will be off set because if a breach they'll be paying million in damages and trying to protect the consumers accounts
