Tons in our hills in Adelaide very dangerous for both many times its happened to me come around blind corner stack of bicycles This incident happened and a couple days latter we had people killedcwith truck accident around there from memory The funny thing is i have multiple freeway out where im living still in city limits and all bicycles and pedestrians are banded from going on them you'll be fined and court appearance if caught The reason for this is speed differences as they are 90 to 110 klm area's But the strange thing is you can ride a moped on them that only do 50 klms Some good bike rider get that speed or faster depending on terrain Even the laws on this are very inconsistent throughout the state They need to uniform them and restrict to bicycle designated areas where its safe to ride them You couldn't pay me to ride a bicycle on the road as the ammount of time ive seen cars veer into bicycle areas Due to inattention or under some influence but mainly from what ive witnessed on phones The bicycle area's should have a guard rails alone them as well cars bike pedestrians do not mix cars win every time Its becoming to the point that even more dangerous for motor cyclists who are able to match the cars speeds
