We had one here in south Australia 🇦🇺 only a couple months ago Died in outback broke down left vechile as they found him dead Klms from vechile and i think its law when travelling in these area's You have to notify police where and how long your route Then when get to next town you notify them you've made the trip They then notify the other police station If they don't hear from you a day or two after exspected time they try ringing you Then go out looking for you if not able to contact as some have forgotten to notify police they've made it Why signs says tell family where your going as they contact them to see if you've made it to any of them Very dangerous if you don't know what your doing and even for experienced have died Its a bit like Canadian ice truckers they freeze to death and here you die dehydration heat stoke both opposite extreme's Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

I'm from Adelaide shhhh we like it being a bit quieter No your right it is clean state we where one of if not the first state to recycle and have bins everywhere It's like living in a large town but convenient of a city Cheaper to live in and food plenty free stuff to do as well museums art gallery botanical gardens all free Lots of parks around city no more than an hour to most places in hills or beaches

It's the beauty of Australia 🇦🇺 even alot of people growing their own vegetables as don't trust commercially grown because they pump it full of stuff to make it last longer in holding fridges before public get it so can sell longer period of time and they can inflate prices as never a glut and as time goes on and still have products can charge more as out of seasons We are lucky 95% of our food is fresh a couple days old after handling transportation They also taste different because picked earlier to las for transportation and ripen in fridges with chem

As a adelaide born and breed These area are very dry and extremely hot as most of the state The mount Gambier area lacks water as well and why area hasn't grown It relies on water in the volcanic crater filled by water aquifer They have time when the waters are low We have a desalination plant in adelaide but never used it and costs a million dollars just to maintenance it not being used But we even ran out of water and had restrictions on water you wasn't allowed to was vechiles or water plants or gardens Anyone got caught got big fines unless had alternative water from bore or dam's I remember it clearly as a child 3 min showers Its nit like this often but why they build desalination plant Theres a controversial argument over desalination plant as it changing the salt content in ocean That people believe will kill marine life This is why every action has a reactions some good some bad 😮 Let alone the costs to build and run This is why desalination not used in the other area's as financially not viable On top all these area are minimum of 2 hrs from adelaide Mt gambier and pt lincoln are 5hrs + in a vechile So besides lack of water extreme heat the distances are a issue's These area's rely on flying doctors in major medical needs as their hospitals are small For any major accidents birth issue's or cancer and other major medical problems they have to come to adelaide To one of our major hospitals either by vechile or small plane alot done by flying doctors as most cant afford tp pay chartered flights We are one of the direst citys in the the world with low yearly rain fall If you can get tour down under bike race its on in adelaide right now for it uci world tour race The start of their seasons travelling the world You'll see adelaide like tour defrance bike race's This year its very brown other years green but been drier here this year Its not unusual we had 40 and 39 for two days with average 35 This is normal its normally around 40 for a week or two at a time so two days is a blessing Just came on news bulletin espect 40 degrees for long weekend Its Australia 🇦🇺 day on 26 jan tomorrow so majority of Aussie's will be enjoying BBQ and the beach with lots of coldies We get monday off as Australia 🇦🇺 day a public holiday and because fell on a weekend we get the monday of for it Always a bonus 😂 So if you want celebrate Australia 🇦🇺 day make snags/ sausages beef or pork can be even herb snags with caramel oinions in bread with sauce / ketchup or good steak or chops even on a plate with salads side dishes It what the majority of Aussie's be doing tomorrow with family and friends We leave the media to deal with the small ammount of protesters and try to make a story of it Most Aussie's to busy enjoying the day and life with family and friends 😂😂😂 Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

The biggest difference by the sounds of it Quality and quantity It sounds like you get way more quantity Where we get better quality Alcohol taxed heavily to stop social issues and to be more a treat or special occasions It's to do with medical problems as well from alcohol wether fighting drink driving to damage to organs from abuse As we have free medical it means this is used as a way to stop big hospital costs to government's/ tax payers Same with ciggy's / smoking and vaps been outlawed here now as well So it's used as pro active way to prevent disease and injuries and medical systems don't become over run as already are with other things It's very much word play by politicians you have free choice but we'll make it that exspensive you have no choice Now doing it on everything sugar salt meat dairy eggs grains ect Electricity gas petrol ect you have the option if you can afford it Which means they get to live as normal but we go without it all But it's our choice they'll tell you because they haven't band it like vaps That must be old as large coffee cheapest $5.50 to $8 To give you a idea in last 3 years government council rate on my property has doubled So has all our other bills sewage water Electricity gas petrol rego / vechile registration on each vechile insurance ect I'm sure no difference their you should look up our data on increases in last 2 yrs even last years We've had some of the biggest increases in the world Cost of home now mind was $ 300,000 6 yrs ago but in last two years now $ 750,000 land 300 square metre block $ 650,000 then building costs and I'm not in luxury area those now start 1.2 Mil now for middle class area anything upper area starting at millions Our economy figures in last 2yrs have exploded due to our government and we have a election end of the year or start of next year They're a very good chance be kicked out of power as 1 term government they are the equivalent to biden Trudeau and if get in again be like England new leader starmer But that's my opinion not everyone's but bloody hope the majority Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

Our mining and fuel trucks are much bigger in Australia 🇦🇺 Timber trucks fold up when empty on top of each other Mining truck called the centimetre don't stop running 24 hrs a day change drivers Now they have 2 of them while one going one way the other coming back and pass each other From memory they are 1000 plus horse power and if I remember right the trailers drive as well due to weights being pulled It pretty standard now to use a B or V Double trailers depending on who you talk to even around the city's now which is two trailers one called A trailer smaller 20ft then B trailer 45ft average weight they carry is 45 tns I used to load and unload them all day for a living Alot are cab overs because of length restrictions but it restricts horse power because of space drive complain short on power 400 hp But our road trains are mainly long nose for more horse power to fit a bigger engine Also all modern day truck are fitted with speed limited devices to 100 klms hr If yourma repeat afender in older truck they make you fit one before can drive it They can pull any truck up plug a computer in and see how fast you've been going and how long as well Companies can plug in and see how hard the drivers been on truck and sack them for not following companies guide lines

I live in SA all my live we get approximately 4weeks a year over 40 degrees plus normally a week at a time very dry heat and can average during summer night temps in 30 winters very cold windy can go into minus but average winter around 5-7 degrees Most comments from people who visit love it and say it's like a large country town feel even though is a city but more relaxed We can travel form city areas to hills or sea ocean within half hour of most areas and very much into food from local Producers of farms and farmer markets most weekends Most tourist that do visit are surprised how much cheaper and quality of food here and say it's very under estimated tourist destinations most find state passing through and stay way longer then expected sadly recently we've becoming more know as cheaper livable state causing increased living costs in past few years

A mate of mine used to drive road trains he remembered when learning While under instruction he said to other guy I've lost a trailer I can't see 👀 it in the mirrors anymore The instructor told him its their stick your head out the window and look back you'll only do it once When he did he told me the trailers where still their but where swaying around on dirt road so far you couldn't see the trailer in mirrors anymore and instructor told him laughing🤣 you won't do that again will you He said it scared the shit💩 out of him instructor said that's normal He told me after a while you get use to it and don't even think about it and the more trailers the more they swing You normally only see the first two trailers

Other day my car in carport so in shade It was reading 48 in the shade city temp was lower In outback they where 49 We had 3 days in a row over 37 Night temps 29 to 33 Then cool front been 25 to 20 today It's been a cooler year again this year As average low to mid 30s But dry heat and moisture as well Been no rain in about 3 months It's why our soils becomes hydroponic When it dose rain need slow steady rain To give soils time to absorb water Otherwise it runs off creating flooding Then ground underneath remains dry It's why in extreme drought we get floods following if rains to quickly

I love architecture the whole of Europe like it In Australia 🇦🇺 we have old architecture being British colony But nothing like theirs Sadly it one thing I'll never get to see in my live But seen plenty docos and miniature versions through out Oz Nothing to compare to Europe it's all mediaeval times When slaves poor public wher used to build this beautiful architecture No one could ever afford it in today's world The thing is with all today technology compared to back then we couldn't even build these things today just on cost alone It makes you wounder have we progressed or regressed

Pineapple fritter are Pineapple slices You either dip,in batter or can crumb Then deep fry in oil sprinkle suger or cinnamon over the top But allow to cool otherwise 3rd degree burns in mouth Chicken shops normally do crumb which that look like But fish and chip shops batter them They do banana's as well Also slices of potato's dipped in batter deep fried then salt or chicken salt You can also use tomato sauce / ketchup and dip it These in my state call Potato fritter and Pineapple fritter banana's fritter In other states call them different names like potato's called potato scollops Even sometimes called here for tourists from other states to understand You and the the little woman could have a go at making them especially seening cold over their perfect Just make nice batter beer is used alot to get the light fluffy but crunchy batter or carbonated water does same But beer gives a unigue flavour Just need to cut potato about inch or two thick so they cook in time and take out when float to top or goldern colour Pineapple is a lot thicker as not really cooking it like potato you are heating and making sugars to change in Pineapple Why is sweet and juicy cooked the same when golden colour mmmmmm Hungry now addictive and not good for the gut line 😉 You should be able to look up on line the thickness Very easily made just use can of Pineapple slices drain well and batter fry done that simple sprinkle with preferred topping Best way put sugar or cinnamon on plate put on hot out fryer then turn over let cool eat your little hearts out Also can put potato fritter between heavily butter roll or two lices of bread then salt and sauce / ketchup to tastes The butter melts making a creamy mixture of salt and sauce Even put lettuce and tomato slices on roll with it some will use mayo instead of sauce this way but im sauce Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

When we had them in Adelaide we are about 20 mins from town and you could hear them very clearly If you where out doing gardening you'd hear them take off for warm up lap and go inside to watch the race on TV It sounded a bit like the quite ones on this tape I like the sound that used to come out the one's that the outlet used to come out the top flat area between driver and rear spoiler not sure what era but clean loud crisp

In Oz we don't have many mostly fined in hundred year old houses Which called cellars because it was a cool dark place to keep your food meat vegetables you had grown or killed Because back then no refrigeration Very rare in newer one due to cost of digging out ground manly rocks otherwise you run into water table Yes gardening is big in Oz as well I guess it makes up for all our dangerous animals 🤣🤣🇦🇺 Sadly our new housing estate's are turning in to cookie cutters normally two stories cubes But if building in heritage areas you do have to build something to blend with its era on outside aesthetics Most Aussie's had a second freezer but because cost of power their becoming rarer now and smaller fridge uses less power Same with other appliances In Tasmania they don't all have air-conditioning but it's law that before you can see or rent a property it must have heating This is one of the differences between them and main land

We had one in Adelaide Australia 🇦🇺 It used to start 10 am and go through to 5pm It was called convey for kids All trucks payed a fee and got a sticker to put in window So all year customers could see they donated money to kids medical research It was truly run volunteer run even cops donated their day off with use of police vechiles and bikes to escort them and run traffic control But they had a few accidents a couple years ago and kids got hurt in trucks so unsure if still running Because it move area due to So many trucks entered they could store them before start My company used to do it and driver volunteer to drive vechiles with a BBQ and beers at the end It was a good way to advertise business as roads where lined with people Theirs also a car one where all cars pre 80s can run they go from Glenelg to Birdwood which there's a car museum It's called Bay to Birdwood Starts at beach and goes into the hills from 1900s cars to 1980 they just allowed as it's only open to cars 30yrs or older It also goes all day long
