π€£π€£π€£I fill for you I'm big bastard as well why I'm diving chrysler 300 I do have 1965 chrysler valiant v8 rare they believe only made just over 1000 of the v8 models mine is 971 from memory They where the first Australian build v8 As all other v8 vechiles prior where imported in and assembled here in Australia π¦πΊ The chrylser model before this was a mix of usa parts and Australian and easiest way to tell if it's the American or Australian The wiper cowl are opposite American pressed right to left The Australian one goes left to right Also dash are different look identical but they changed the angle of steering column to make it easier for larger people to get in So one dash or instrument panel you'd know it as has a higher loop in it and brackets on column are different But to look at you couldn't tell unless trying to fit parts Their are other miner changes as well but year had usa parts with Australian parts then went all Australian when they caught up with production and dies to press items In Australia we got slant six American and the Australian made which had more horse power and where blue in later chyslers Also Aussie built hemi 6 where 215 ,245, 265 Only R/T charger was 265 hemi with 45mm Webber's and cam solid lift from factory Then v8 where 273 , 318 ,340 ,360 all small blocks and we had A body and B body's You forget how small the old cars are if I reach out from drivers seat with slight lean I can open quarter window on passenger side Cheers mate π¦π¦πΊπ been chrysler owner since I could drive always had one model or another

Β @johnd8892Β yes but the chyslers 1965 v8 model was the very first Australian build they used same running gear but believe they started manufacturing it all here in 1965 because costs of shipping at the time Also the dodge trucks ran the same engines as well
