In Australia as soon as hit teens no longer classed as child or adult So you don't get children discounts on most things The venue normally have age limits like under 14 free could be even lower Over that charged as adults Same goes with public transport if a student get discounted have a student card otherwise charge as adult But adults who are students can use same card for discount So here in Australia there's big gap in child to adults But leagal systems don't class you as a adult until 18 Unless special circumstances and someone younger can be charged as a adult depending on crimes But needs a court to rule on what the category they fall in normally murder case's and rare They are looking at lowering criminal age because to many using the systems to get out of adult crimes and slap on the hand Some state have dropped the age limits so kids stealing vechiles in car chances home invasion robbery bashings to be charged under adults regardless of age as these are adult crimes and most have long histories of being on multiple bail while doing it some only hrs after being bonded for multiple time in a day Because under juvenile laws hard to keep them locked up under the law's
