  1. 🤔 how bad the crime their to need that type of security We in Australia 🇦🇺 normally have a separate screen door that's also security door Then you have a main door behind that so two doors It so you can have main door open to allow air through in hot weather and keep critters out + theifs I personally only ever shut main doors when going out even sleep with main doors open as screen doors are locked and security doors Also by having security door you can have a glass main door for light but security still We have similar to USA doors but most main doors are solid timber for strenght and insulation as metal doors heat up to much But modern home interior doors like USA veneer on outside with cardboard internals for strenght and timber bead to hold together So hindges and locks have something for them to attach old houses have solid interior doors like my brother home 1900s
