Bet you didn't notice her and camera man are kiwis new Zealanders could tell by a cent Our homes have either metal roof normally colour bond which is similar to powder coating Or you get clay or concrete tiles Depending on how much you want to spend as tile much heavier and roof structure needs to be much stronger buil but keep heat out better Where as steel heats up and cool downs quickly Also metal noisey when rains where tiles you don't know Originally houses where built from stone or timber some from steel like the roof as exterior walls Again costs and same with heat and cooling property But in early days during war times materials where hard to get and government's would only allocate the materials able to use This is when Asbestos sheeting came in before everyone knew its dangerous then went to cement fibre sheeting for external walls Very weather resistant but brittle if hit like with a footy cricket ball would punch holes in it and not easy to repair Materials used tells you alot in what era the house was originally built and getting hard to find them now as being demolished for land to put multiple ugly modern square box dwellings on them no character just like old and new vechiles Strange glass was in alot of properties late 1800s to 1950s this is a ruff guide line Yeah we call them bi - fold doors many new or renovated homes have these to the outside of home Which brings outside inside but only if home are structural to support the span in-between Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍
