I live in Australia and in every intersections in my area has a round about their would be atleast 10 within a couple of klms They are OK if you know how to use them but unfortunately their are quite a few who don't know how to use them even after passing their testing and elderly are extremely hesitate to drive into them if a vehicle around also a lot of foreign people struggle with them Sadly they'll give anyone a license here that now they have replaced turn left anytime with care at traffic light with arrow light and now having to wait One of the main reasons local governments like round about is slows down hoon drivers as they have to slow down to get around them as they make them tight for this reason The first one's used to have alot of room and people could drive through them at speed I wouldn't say decreased accidents but are way less serious
