The money thing is because we have a compulsory superannuation funds where a percentage is taken from your wages and company has to match you can add more if you wish and when you get to certain age if you want to add the government will match it But their is a cap on how much government will match it as you coming up to retirement time while still working This is designed to lighten the load on government pension all tax payers of the country receives The younger generation may not receive in later years as they start as soon as they work Where's people my age haven't had enough time since introduction to save enough to be self funded retirement as young will be Their always be some type of pension as it'll depend how long you work or if been able to and females lose of superannuation while having kids even myself want get a full pension but it'll top up what we couldn't save due to when introduction of scheme So we look richer then we are as all this money sitting in funds that invest and then they average it per population But there are some who will retire very well off others like myself way less as it'll comes down to your earnings at the time Because the hire the wage more percentage you pay towards your superannuation fund Hope this help you understand how it works Trust me not all Aussie are rich either alot struggle week to week as well in working class To give you an idea to be comfortable income it's about $1000 week society from what they say average wage But most blue collar workers take home $800 you survive and if lucky something left over Everything has blown out in our economy and now have more living on the streets we are seeing working homeless As everything been rising through the roof 11 house interest rates rises on top of 30% utilities and food fuel $2.20 litre Cheers 🦘🇦🇺👍

Because the government here pays for most of health care They are pro active and scan check people at certain age groups for pictular illnesses Then can treat you earlier and cheaper with better result's for less expense Like myself as low income they've payed for all my medical I've had to have multiple MRI scans and other specialist tests and scans They've found what they where looking for and now check if spread they think found it so early enough they can't even treat it yet But if their correct they'll monitor me every 6 months blood tests and another biopsy in twelve months I'll find out in September if it's spread or not but their confident that it hasn't and its all been for free due to my income But they don't do it for everything and this was picked up in a blood test for something else but check for multiple things at the time for age groups that you'd be at higher risk and this is my guess where living longer and medical system works to some extent It's why they give life time incentives for younger people now with reduced tax to help pay toward private health insurance as well some government cover The reason why they want them to take up private as well to cover area's the government's don't as it's pretty back logged so with the private cover you can get fast tracked in medical system We are very blessed in this country and they've looked after me well Some complain they've had it bad but I've always been treated well in medical side I might have been lucky Also our food is pretty regulated as well most is fresh and grown or slaughter from local stuff It fresh but probably more expansive then other countries Also with a lot of out doors activities from sport to bush walking beaches we spend alot of time outdoors for atleast 7 months of the year If where lucky in my state might see 3 months with rain but beautiful sunny days in between Cheers cobber 🦘🇦🇺👍 cobber old slang term for mate pal bloke all mean same
