  4.  @stevenmitchell1  no mate but those kids would've been dead from their own families Just like what's happening now where their parents don't care about them and being abused Just like the 7 yr girl and 12yr old girls raped by family members Yet the rapist did less then 3 mnths jail under indigenous leaders setting the sentence in courts Then allowed back into those home with the children they raped Now that's disgusting and appalling on everyone as treating the vitictims as 2nd class citizens Same with the kids run the streets without supervision I don't blame the kids as they have no safe place to go to This is what happened back then as now because alcohol Why this government responsible by removing the card so they now can buy alcohol No one safe now in those communities I have indigenous neighbour we talk often about the issues and used to go to school with many The card system had been the best thing that happened in the community's since I've been alive Sadly it needs strong leaders on both sides to make very hard decisions to help any of these societies The problem is its not just the government's corrupt but many high powered indigenous leaders It's in both their interests to not fix the issue that way they can asked for more funding and pocket it The ammount of money that's been allocated ever indigenous person should've been a millionaire atleast once if not more But the greedy middle bureaucrats swallowing up much of the fund using procedures Also they have their family and friends run the third party organisations in charge of distributing the funds at inflated costs You showed what the biggest issue is that everyone to blame like my parents and my generation But don't hold your own accountable for their actions at the time and today I'm happy to say my ancestors of that time of landing would've have killed some of your ancestors as they of ours It was a different time and place back then and niether can be held accountable for what happened then But we all can from any races here be held accountable the same as each other as that's within our power as individuals To choose to want to live together and move forward for everyone to have a happy prosperous live But while certain individuals in all races allowing these people in power to exploit the history They'll always succeed in being in power and continue to get rich by oppression of everyone Just to give you an idea who your speaking with is a white poor individual that's life wasn't much better then indigenous at the time Alcohol destroyed my family but even as they way my parents where they knew and made sure where we where at all times Because didn't want cops on their doorstep trying to remove us I only seen them sober once in my entire life 4weeks and totally different people We went without food for days couldn't go to school so the only difference in my life to other indigenous was colour of my skin And not sexual abused also my parents made sure never in trouble So you was making a massive assumption because I'm white I have no idea I have what I've got through hard work broken body and learning from my parents what not to do As it wasn't the life style or future I wanted for myself and no longer see 2 of my siblings Because I don't need people like that in my life I don't have much or any money but don't have people in my life causing me problems Which means I'm happy within myself because I have chosen that for myself I hope you can find the same peice in your life some day You'll need to loose the hate from the past first and look forward to a better life if you choose it
