  2. But can a country be heavily religious and be successful in creating wealth (not by natural resources)? For example My friend says India can not be a developed country because it is too religious and I think heavily Islamic countries also can’t develop since very religious. Also the middle/dark ages Europe didn’t do so well when it was religious.
