  15. This is a symbolic move but for a company that big don’t think that 50 employees is the reason the company stock is in trouble. It’s bad investment decision making at the top which caused the stock to drop. As a veeerrry small investor I think they need to work smarter (or bring in better people) then cutting people.

  34. I think the fed is willing to accept higher inflation in order to make paying the federal debt easier. They might limit the corresponding rise in interest rates by purchasing the debt themselves which will result in the hidden cost (for most Americans) of the dollar becoming weaker.

  51. My step father worked in a chip fab (as a technician not management) in Southern California over a decade ago and said the same thing that Taiwans workers would get up at night to fix machines but American workers would not so that’s why they couldn’t compete against them and closed the fab.

  56.  @Steven-xf8mz  fwiw maybe they are subsidizing now but when I lived there until right before virus their electricity and gasoline prices were always higher then in Los Angeles. Not sure the reason though.
