  2. I think the reason European countries had such success outside Europe was because it was fragmented so each group was focused exclusively on getting better (more advanced) militarily since there was constant wars. Now like you said it is a weakness

  3. Agree foreign countries can sabotage EU actions by focusing investment money strategically in specific countries (like China in Hungary) .

  4. Nobody forced Europe or its companies to get tightly integrated with USA. When US has a recession and those European companies/investors lose money are you going to blame USA again.

  5. They get away with this by smartly spending a $$$$$$$$ on US elections which gives them 100x return in aid/protection.
